What’s one thing you’re learning right now — professionally or personally?

Learning science behind artificial intelligence and integrating AI tools to my personal and professional tasks. Deliberately diving deep on science of intelligence and skimming the surface with personal use of AI tools helps me to connect the dots on "Why" it works or not in real-world situations.

In your view, what makes a truly effective board member?

Preparedness on subject at hand combined with ability to listen and appreciate different points of view enables effectiveness with navigating towards win-win strategies.

Beach, mountains, city, or countryside — what’s your ideal getaway?

Hill top town next to a beach.

What’s a small daily habit that makes a big difference for you?

Walk, bike, or run – preferrably outdoors.

What’s a book every board member should read?

Nassim Talebb's Incerto series of five books on uncertainty, randomness, and risk is great. I think the fifth in the series Skin-in-the-game is a must read for board members.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

"Change nothing inherently bad in the process, nothing inherently good in the result." - Marcus Aurelius.

In your experience, what differentiates great board chairs?

Judgement to prioritize among variety of concerns and hold space for decisions to emerge.
