Robert Keehan

Director Advisor

Over his 28 years as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Robert Keehan gained significant exposure to high-performing boards and audit committees at some of the largest companies in the sector, allowing him to develop a keen sense of good governance and understanding of the respective roles of management and the board. He has substantial experience collaborating with executives and boards navigating diverse business challenges including complex mergers and acquisitions; technology and artificial intelligence; environmental, social, and corporate governance; regulatory matters; and risk management. Keehan recently joined the board of directors of Fervo Energy, which completed its initial public offering and listing on the Nasdaq in May 2026, where he serves as the chair of the audit committee and is a member of the compensation committee. His philanthropic engagement as a board member at Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School of Houston, Covenant House, and the Houston Zoo reflect his passion for supporting organizations that benefit children.

Keehan led the audits of four Fortune 250 energy, utility, and renewable companies and delivered consulting services to three of PwC’s largest advisory clients. Clients served included all subsectors: integrated majors, upstream, downstream, chemicals, midstream, independent power producer, retail and trading, renewables, and regulated utilities. His engagements included over $50 billion of M&A, significant capital markets transactions (for example, IPOs, spin-offs, joint ventures, bankruptcies), and ESG services. Keehan also led PwC’s relationships with several sector trade organizations, including the Energy Infrastructure Council and Edison Electric Institute.

Keehan co-led PwC’s Washington, DC, metro regional practice with more than $1 billion in revenue and over 3,700 staff across five offices that served multiple industries including government, aerospace, hospitality, energy, technology, and retail and consumer. He also served in a leadership role in the firm’s US energy, utility, and renewables sector practice with more than $1 billion in revenue and over 3,000 staff.

Regarded by the firm as an effective problem solver, Keehan assumed additional leadership roles in both PwC’s US and global firms related to a $1 billion project with Microsoft to upgrade enterprise systems using AI/agents, major workstreams associated with ESG and crypto, and improving processes and delivery models that increased quality by 50 percent and reduced costs by 30 percent. He also led the team that developed the technology, technical guidance, and execution support used by the firm’s 120,000 global assurance professionals. While executing these roles, Keehan presented business plans to leadership teams and the board of PwC, building consensus while navigating management and governance responsibilities.

Keehan earned a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Texas A&M University. He is a CPA in the state of Texas and a member of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants and of NACD. In November 2025, Keehan completed the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management’s corporate governance program.
