Lawrence Young is a global transformation and restructuring leader with more than 25 years of experience serving in CEO, chief financial officer, and chief revenue officer roles during critical periods for multinational organizations. Throughout his career, he has been entrusted by boards, lenders, investors, and stakeholders to stabilize complex businesses, restore operational performance, and guide organizations through periods of financial, operational, and regulatory pressure.
Young brings extensive expertise in corporate transformation, governance, capital restructuring, and enterprise value creation. He has led or overseen restructurings involving more than $20 billion in debt and has managed complex negotiations with global lenders, governments, and regulators. His leadership experience spans technology, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing, consumer retail, real estate, and other capital-intensive sectors across more than 10 countries.
Over the course of his career, Young has served on multiple client, private equity portfolio, and privately held company boards, providing strategic oversight and governance guidance during periods of disruption and change. He is recognized for his steady leadership, decisive execution, and ability to align stakeholders in high-pressure environments.
Key career highlights include leading a global telecommunications company to a tenfold EBITDA exit while restructuring more than $1 billion in debt across multiple Latin American markets, recovering more than $1 billion in enterprise value through complex international divestitures, and stabilizing businesses facing liquidity challenges, restatements, and operational disruption.
Earlier in his career, Young cofounded a middle-market investment firm focused on operational turnarounds, led restructuring and transaction advisory engagements at Deloitte & Touche LLP, and held corporate finance roles at Chrysler and Banc One Corp.
