Kenny Owen is the chair and CEO of Houston-based South Coast Terminals, one of the largest independent specialty chemical and lubricant additives manufacturers in the United States. He is also the CEO of Lindau Chemicals Inc., based in Columbia, South Carolina, a leading specialty organic chemical manufacturer and pioneer in the development of advanced epoxy curing agents, promoters, and solvated organic copolymers. South Coast and Lindau operate across four sites and provide their customers with toll manufacturing, blending, processing, and packaging services for a wide range of specialty chemicals as well as liquid bulk storage and terminal distribution with truck, rail, and marine access.

Owen serves on the board of directors of Western Midstream Partners (NYSE: WES) including as chair of the audit committee. Owen previously served as cofounder and CEO of bulk liquids terminaling and logistics provider Moda Midstream. Prior to Moda, he was at Oiltanking Partners, where he served as president and CEO of the general partner of Oiltanking Partners L.P. and Oiltanking North America.

Before he joined Oiltanking, Owen worked in the energy investment banking groups at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and UBS Investment Bank, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, initial public offerings, and equity and debt transactions, primarily for the midstream energy sector.

Owen enjoys serving in the Houston community and beyond and is active on the boards of The Orphaned Starfish Foundation, the Houston Dynamo and Dash Charities, and the Mercury Orchestra.
