Scott Carlton is vice chair of the board of United Fire Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: UFCS), where he has served as a director for more than 13 years. He serves on the audit, compensation, and nominating and governance committees. He is NACD Directorship Certified and is a listed Nasdaq financial expert.

Carlton is also CEO of Tokai Carbon GE LLC, a manufacturer of carbon and graphite materials, and brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in manufacturing and international business. Prior to joining Tokai Carbon GE, he was president of North America for SGL Carbon for over 10 years.
