Richard Mroz is a government and regulatory affairs consultant at Archer Public Affairs and founder of Resolute Strategies, LLC. He advises clients in the energy, utilities, infrastructure, and financial services sectors. Mroz is chair of NACD New Jersey and is NACD Directorship Certified.

He serves on the advisory boards of ClearPath Foundation and Princeton Nu Energy, the advisory council of the Center for Public Utilities at New Mexico State University, and as a senior advisor to Protect Our Power. He was appointed to the US Department of Energy's Electric Advisory Committee and has chaired Aspen Institute Energy Week.

Mroz previously served as president of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, chairman of the Critical Infrastructure Committee for the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), NARUC liaison to the Electric Sector Coordinating Council, and president of the Organization of PJM States. Earlier, he was chief counsel to New Jersey Governor Christie Whitman.
