Lillian Brown at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, member of the transactional and securities departments, and chair of the corporate governance and disclosure group. Prior to that, she spent nearly 14 years at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission , including as senior special counsel to the director of the division of corporation finance. 

Brown is a regular speaker on securities and corporate governance matters. She co-chairs Practising Law Institute’s corporate governance course and Directors’ Institute on Corporate Governance. She serves as an advisory board member for the Securities Regulation Institute, fellow in the American College of Governance Counsel, and cochair of the American Bar Association's federal regulation of securities committee.

She has been as a nationwide leader in the securities regulation category by Chambers USA and as one of Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Dealmakers in America.
