Judy Werthauser is executive vice president and chief people officer for Walmart U.S., where she helps shape the talent, leadership, operating model, and associate experience for the company's largest business, supporting more than 1.6 million associates. Her work focuses on increasing organizational velocity, strengthening frontline performance, building future-ready capabilities, and redesigning work at the intersection of people and artificial intelligence.
Over a career spanning more than three decades, Werthauser has led enterprise transformation across human resources, customer experience, strategy, technology, and organizational design for Walmart, Five Below, Domino's, Target, U.S. Bancorp and Marshall Field's. She also served on the board of BJ's Wholesale Club, where she chaired the compensation and governance committees.
