Heather Wishart-Smith is a board director and advises corporations and investors on strategy, growth, leadership, and innovation. Wishart-Smith currently serves on the board of Orion Energy Systems. She led technology and innovation for a $14 billion professional solutions provider and is a Forbes contributor with a column on innovation. Wishart-Smith is a licensed Professional Engineer, certified Project Management Professional, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional, and is NACD Directorship Certified®. She has led large engineering and construction programs and businesses. A former Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer, Wishart-Smith served at Camp David and has published and presented on leadership, engineering, and construction topics in the military and transportation sectors. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a member of the National Academy of Construction. She is also a Fellow of the Society of American Military Engineers, which she served as president (2020-2021).
