Ed Magee is a distinguished C-suite executive whose leadership has propelled global brands like Harley-Davidson, ABB, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, and now WD-40, where he is an independent director (audit and finance committees). As a decorated combat veteran and former lieutenant colonel in the US Marine Corps, Magee extends his commitment to community and education through his roles as a board director for Smithsonian SITES|Affiliations and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee and as chair of the NACD Nashville Chapter advisory board. Currently, Magee serves as the COO at the Thomas F. Frist Jr. College of Medicine and is a professor of practice at the Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business. Magee was recognized as a 2024 Director of the Year, Emerging Board Leader by the Corporate Directors Forum, as among the 2024 Savoy Magazine Most Influential Corporate Directors, and as a 2025 Presidential Leadership Scholar.
