Diane Gherson

Diane Gherson serves as an independent director and committee chair at the Kraft Heinz Company and TechWolf, and advises early-stage AI companies and VC firm Semper Virens.
As the prior chief people officer at IBM, Gherson led the global HR function and successfully transformed the company culture of 365,000 employees to support a massive portfolio shift. An early pioneer in applying AI to HR, she led a new operating model for the function and continues to focus on the intersection of AI and work. She has been named HR Executive of the Year and is a fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources.
Following her 19-years at IBM, Gherson was a professor at Harvard Business School. Today, she is a senior advisor at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and a coach and advisor to CEOs and CHROs.
Gherson holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Toronto, and a master's from Cornell University.
