David Brown is president,  CEO, and executive chairman of Wyo-Ben, Inc., a 75-year-old family-owned and family-managed mining and manufacturing company. Wyo-Ben mines and processes sodium bentonite, serving customers across a range of industries and global markets.

Brown joined the company after receiving his MBA and has led Wyo-Ben for over 20 years. The Company is governed by a seven-member fiduciary board that includes a majority of independent outside directors. He also has a management role in the family’s Montana-based cattle ranch, which has operated for more than a century.

Brown has held many board leadership roles, including chairman of the Billings Clinic, the Montana Chamber of Commerce, the Essential Minerals Association, and the National Mining Museum. He also served on the American Hospital Association’s governance committee and on the board of Boy Scouts of America Western Region.
