Christine Davine is the managing partner of Deloitte’s Center for Board Effectiveness, where she helps directors fulfill their oversight responsibilities across governance, audit, strategy, risk, crisis management, innovation, technology, and succession. A vice chair in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance (A&A), she serves on the executive leadership team and works with boards and management of large, global organizations across industries.
Previously, Davine managed Quality, Risk, and Regulatory for A&A, leading Deloitte’s Professional Practice Network and shaping policy on complex accounting, auditing, and risk matters. She has served on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s (PCAOB) Standards and Emerging Issues Advisory Group, and chaired multiple committees for the Center for Audit Quality (CAQ). A frequent speaker and author on governance and, regulatory issues, she holds the NACD Directorship Certification.
Before Deloitte, Davine spent eight years with the SEC in the Division of Corporation Finance and the Office of the Chief Accountant. She is a licensed CPA in Virginia and Washington, DC.
