Amber K. Hilliard is a senior advisor with the KPMG LLP Board Leadership Center, where she serves as a corporate governance thought leader and trusted advisor to corporate boards and C-suite executives. Hilliard brings nearly 20 years of experience as a former practicing attorney, advising sophisticated clients, including Fortune 500 and high-growth companies, on a broad range of corporate law, governance, SEC compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management matters.

Prior to joining KPMG, Hilliard served as vice president and assistant corporate secretary at Tupperware Brands Corporation. She has also held senior legal leadership roles at e.l.f. Cosmetics, Hims & Hers Health, Inc., and Fannie Mae.

Hilliard began her career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. She earned a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a BA, cum laude, in economics and Spanish from Cornell University.
