Dr. Helmuth Ludwig is a senior technology and industrial executive with deep global operating, governance, and digital transformation experience, including extensive public-company board service.

He spent nearly three decades at Siemens, culminating as Global Chief Information Officer, where he led a 7,000-person IT organization with a multi‑billion‑dollar budget and drove large-scale digital, cloud, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives across the enterprise.

His operating background includes CEO, president, and divisional leadership roles across Europe, North America, and Latin America, managing multi-billion-dollar businesses with responsibility for growth, restructuring, and major integrations.

Dr. Ludwig currently serves on multiple boards, including as chair and audit and nominating/governance committee member, and advises private equity and high-growth technology companies. He also brings an academic perspective as a Professor of Practice at SMU’s Cox School of Business, with a strong focus on strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
