Stephanie Shalkoski

Director, Membership Engagement

Stephanie Shalkoski serves as the Director of Membership Engagement for the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), where she strengthens relationships with board directors and creates meaningful opportunities for governance leaders to connect, learn, and engage. Her role centers on enhancing member value, supporting director development, and advancing the chapter’s mission to elevate board performance across the region.

Prior to joining NACD New England, Stephanie spent nearly a decade at Harvard Business School, most recently as Senior Associate Director of Alumni Programs & Engagement. In this role, she led strategic initiatives that strengthened ties across the HBS ecosystem—bringing together alumni, faculty, and students. She oversaw a portfolio of high‑visibility programs and flagship events, developed engagement and lifelong learning strategies that advanced School‑wide priorities, and cultivated partnerships that strengthened community and institutional affiliation. Her work included partnering with senior leaders, alumni board members, and teams across Harvard to shape communications, convenings, and engagement frameworks that deepened Harvard’s connection with its global alumni network.

Earlier in her career, Stephanie held several director-level roles with the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, where she led teams, built organizational partnerships, and drove revenue-generating initiatives across advertising, sponsorship, digital media, and guest services.

Stephanie’s commitment to community extends beyond her professional work. She is an elected Town Meeting Member in Saugus and serves as Co-President of SAVE, a local nonprofit focused on environmental advocacy and community engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and a Public Leadership Credential from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
