Tim Huebsch is Founder & Principal of Fieldstone Advisory, a strategic governance advisory firm focused on board effectiveness, transitions and long-term fiduciary stewardship.  Tim served nearly 25 years leading global, cross-functional teams at General Mills across Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance and Digital Marketing. 

Tim holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and is a past Humphrey Policy Fellow from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.   

He is a recipient of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty award, the Alumni Service Award from the University of Minnesota, and the Distinguished Young Alumni Award from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Tim currently serves as a Trustee for the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system, Vice Chair of the Mankato Area Foundation and is a board member of the Guthrie Theater. He has previously served as President of the Carlson School of Management Alumni Board, on the Carlson School of Management Board of Overseers and as President of the Minnesota State University, Mankato Foundation.

Tim is also an active member of the Twin Cities tech startup community where he is an investor and partner.  Tim is a thought leader on innovation, technology, philanthropy, governance and higher education.
