Key Insights

Boards are making space for technology discussions on board agendas and in board meetings. The data show that 66 percent of public company respondents state they discuss technology items at every board meeting. This frequency of discussion seems to pay off. More than a third (34%) of those that have these discussions every meeting feel very or extremely confident that their fellow board members understand the implications of transformative technologies on their organization’s growth strategy, compared to 10 percent of those that have such discussions once a year or less (28% overall).
