Defense, intelligence, and infrastructure engineering firm Parsons Corp. named its former chief financial officer (CFO), George L. Ball, NACD.DC, and Ellen M. Lord, former US Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, to its board. Matthew Ofilos, former executive vice president of finance, was named the company’s new CFO. Ball joined Parsons in 1995 and was a critical part of the company going public in 2019. He previously served on the boards of Cornerstone Building Brands and Wells Fargo Real Estate Investment Corp. Lord brings more than three decades of defense industry experience and previously served as president and CEO of Textron Systems Corp. She serves on the boards of AAR Corp., GEOST, and Voyager Space Holdings. Ofilos led multibillion-dollar finance organizations prior to joining Parsons in 2021, including at Amazon Web Services.
