Recognizing the best board members and governance leaders

Over the last year, companies faced formidable challenges that tested their leadership and adaptability. In some cases, significant ransomware attacks tried the effectiveness of company cybersecurity policies and the quality of board cybersecurity oversight. At other companies, particularly in highly regulated industries, boards began to anticipate both a reprieve from overregulation and uncertainty about the trajectories of their sectors following the US Supreme Court decision in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, which overturned the Chevron doctrine. The Loper Bright decision ended the ability of federal agencies to implement regulations with no clear basis in law.
