As Senior Director of Credentialing at the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Brian Mizelle serves as the operational and programmatic business leader for NACD’s directorship certification program and a principal representative of the program to the membership and broader business community.

Mr. Mizelle is an accomplished operations executive with more than three decades of experience in business operations, software security, and product development. Prior to joining NACD, he served as Executive Director of Operations at UltraViolet Cyber and, before that, at Black Duck Software, where he led the successful divestiture of corporate and IT assets from Synopsys and oversaw the transformation of business systems to provide real-time, data-driven insights for senior leadership. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly two decades at Cigital, Inc. (later acquired by Synopsys), where he served as Chief Security Officer and Vice President of Operations, overseeing the global supply chain and delivery of the company's application security offerings across the United States and India. He also held Managing Principal responsibilities focused on business development and client management and served on the Board of Directors for Cigital Asia Ltd. He is a named inventor on a U.S. patent for workflow management in single sign-on systems.

Mr. Mizelle holds a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University and completed the Center for Creative Leadership's "Leadership at the Peak" C-Suite executive training program.
