Hayward helps lead the capital markets and public company advisory teams at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He provides direct, thoughtful, and practical advice to publicly traded corporations—across all industries—in all aspects of securities, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, Securities and Exchange Commission compliance and disclosure, corporate governance, stockholder activism, succession planning, and crisis management. He serves on the Northwestern University Board of Trustees and is a member of its educational properties committee, and the research, innovation, and entrepreneurship committee.
