Bannister is a partner and chief operating officer with Farient Advisors. He has 30 years’ experience with the S&P 1500 and large private companies as executive compensation consultant representing the compensation committee, management, or both.

Bannister worked with companies on total rewards strategies, executive compensation philosophies, and alignment of compensation programs, plans, policies, and processes with business strategies, using deep insights on industry and compensation trends; sophisticated financial, market, and compensation analytics; and simple, impactful solutions.

Bannister has worked across multiple industries, including manufacturing, retail, specialty apparel, financial, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, tech, telecom, energy, and private and private equity companies.

Before joining Farient, Bannister was CEO of Bannister Group LLC, an executive compensation and total rewards consultancy he founded in 2019, after retiring as managing director with Willis Towers Watson (WTW) after 25 years. He led WTW’s North American executive compensation practice. Before WTW, he consulted for Strategic Compensation Associates.
