Wes Hart is managing director in the Houston office of Pearl Meyer & Partners, an executive compensation consulting firm. His focus has been on the assessment and development of executive compensation programs with an emphasis on tailoring incentive programs to the individual needs of clients. Hart has performed work across all areas of executive compensation for clients in a wide variety of industries with a focus in the energy, banking, and not-for-profit sectors. He previously was a manager at Buck Consultants in the executive compensation practice and held positions at Mercer Human Resource Consulting and in the KPMG Compensation and Benefits Group.

Hart has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Summa Cum Laude. He is a member of WorldatWork and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. His recent speaking engagements include "Creating Total Compensation Plans That Reflect Performance" at the Dallas/Fort Worth Executive Compensation Conference and "Understanding Current Compensation Issues" at the Empowering Leaders Director Development Program in San Antonio. He also copresented "CEO Pay in the Oil Patch: 2011 Proxy Season Recap for the Oil & Gas Industry" at a PM&P-sponsored webcast titled.
