A renowned expert in international security, ethnic and religious violence, civil wars, and demography, Monica has taught at the Oxford Blavatnik School of Government and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She is the author of Securing the Peace, Political Demography, and God’s Century.  Monica previously served for four years as a Russian linguist in the U.S. Army.
