Miguel A. Núñez, MD, MBA, NACD.DC is executive chairman of Sapien Care, a digital health company focused on AI-enabled preventive care, and a practicing primary care physician in Coral Gables, Florida. He previously founded and served as chairman of Salubris, leading its evolution from a Medicaid health plan to a managed services organization serving over 30,000 members.

His governance work focuses on translating emerging technology risk into practical board oversight frameworks, with particular emphasis on clinical AI, enterprise risk management, and regulatory compliance.
