Mark Ties is a Senior Operating Partner at Francisco Partners, a leading global investment firm that specializes in partnering with technology and technology-enabled businesses. Mark’s primary role is to engage with portfolio company CEO’s and executive leadership teams to help grow their businesses and enhance value creation efforts for shareholders, employees, and customers.

Prior to FPO, Mark was the CEO of FP-backed Perforce Software, where he led the transformation from a $50M single product company to a $600M+ multiproduct global software business. While at Perforce, Mark was a 2020 EY Entrepreneur of The Year Heartland Region Award winner. Prior to Perforce, Mark was the CFO and COO of HelpSystems (now Fortra Software), where he helped drive business growth from ~$50M to ~$200M in revenues. Mark currently serves as the executive chairman of Perforce as well serving on the boards of BlackDuck, Sumo Logic, and Blancco.
