Anu Aiyengar is the global head of Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions at J.P. Morgan and a member of the firm’s Global Banking Operating Committee and Management Team. Aiyengar has held senior leadership roles across the Investment Bank and has advised on more than $1 trillion worth of transactions. Aiyengar has been named to Barron's "100 Most Influential Women in US Finance" and American Banker's "Most Powerful Women in Finance" for the last five years. In 2025, she was named the top US M&A banker on Business Insider's Rainmakers list, becoming the first woman to hold the No. 1 position. She serves as the vice chair of the board of trustees at Smith College and on the board of Dress for Success. She is also on the steering committee for JPMorgan Chase’s Women On the Move initiative and is a guest lecturer at Chicago Booth and Harvard Business School.
