Ron Chu is former group vice president and head of global internal controls for Toyota Motor Corp. He also served as group vice president and head of accounting and finance for Toyota Financial Services. Recently, he has been appointed audit committee chair to the board of Toyota Motor Credit Corp., the largest automotive finance company in the United States. Chu previously served on the nominating and governance committee of the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) board, which advances young Asian American professionals running for public office. During his time with the APAICS,  Chu raised $1 million in funding and guided the CEO to generate record revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is an active certified public accountant licensed in California.
