Alice Brennan is a public and private company board director with more than 20 years of boardroom experience. She has deep knowledge of enterprise risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance, as well as broad knowledge of the financial services sector. Currently, Alice serves on the boards of three public financial services companies - including one company with $10 billion AUM and also a mutual fund - as well as the board of an independent solar power producer. She chairs and serves on key committees, including Audit, Compensation, and Nominating & Governance, with deep involvement in fiduciary oversight, transformative growth, and CEO succession planning. She served as the first chief compliance officer of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and then as the architect of the award-winning enterprise risk management program at Verizon Wireless. She is the former president of the Stockholder Relations Society and board director for the Society for Corporate Governance. Alice studied chemistry and biology at Skidmore College and received a master’s degree in microbiology from Columbia University. She holds a law degree from Hofstra Law School. She has earned a NACD Directorship Certification, and is a NACD New Jersey Chapter board member and NACD Directorship 100 Honoree.
