Kevin McGovern is the managing partner for Deloitte in New England. He leads a team of over 2,800 professionals serving Deloitte’s diverse client base throughout the region. Under McGovern’s leadership, Deloitte provides audit, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to established and emerging companies from every key New England industry including technology, financial services, life sciences, health care, consumer, manufacturing, retail, and the public sector.

In his managing partner role, he has set the strategy and execution of Deloitte’s growth and community impact objectives across New England. McGovern meets regularly with business, civic, and government leaders to determine where Deloitte’s services and citizenship efforts have the highest impact for New England and the firm. For the local practice, he is responsible for creating an inclusive environment where each person can find their place and thrive.

In his 37 years with Deloitte, McGovern has served a wide array of clients primarily in the financial services industry including the top three global investment management firms, several of the largest global banks and insurers, and some of the world's premier private equity firms. McGovern has also led several businesses for Deloitte and currently serves as the firm’s east region marketplace leader, which comprises approximately 40 percent of Deloitte US revenue.

McGovern has been married to his wife Tracy for 37 years and has five children and one granddaughter. On most weekends you can find him in Maine either riding his bicycle (a 20-year PMC rider), playing golf, or coaxing his vegetable garden to grow.
