Suzanna de Baca is an experienced CEO and board director. As president and CEO of Business Publications Corp. (BPC), de Baca leads an award-winning media and communications company. Before joining BPC, she was president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Heartland and for over two decades was a senior-level executive at Fortune 250 and privately held financial services and asset management firms including Ameriprise Financial, Bank of America Private Bank, and Weiss, Peck & Greer Investments.

De Baca currently serves on the boards of Bill Jacobs Companies, Community State Bank, and Delta Dental Foundation of Iowa as well as numerous local and international nonprofit boards. She is on the executive committee and is membership co-chair of Executive Women on Boards, a global network of women nonexecutive directors.

A proud Latina, she has been a champion for diversity and inclusion in the workplace through her leadership and board involvement. She has published articles and has been interviewed on leadership, finance, health, board governance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion and women’s issues and at a wide variety of outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Washington Post, Time magazine, US News & World Report, Forbes, MSNBC, CNBC, and National Public Radio, among others. De Baca graduated from Iowa State University (with distinction) and holds a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.
