Jeanie Latz is a respected leader across public, private, academic, and nonprofit arenas. She was a C-suite executive in the energy industry holding operational responsibilities across functional lines including legal, human resources, internal audit, and facilities management. She was also a member of the faculty at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she taught legal and strategy courses.

Latz has had substantial experience working with boards throughout her career. She currently consults with publicly held companies on governance and Securities and Exchange Commission matters. She also sits on the board of the American Association of University Women - a 100-year-old organization based in Washington, DC, where she chairs the nominating committee of the board.

She has chaired several nonprofit boards in the community including the American Red Cross Greater Kansas City Chapter, Powell Gardens, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Women’s Council. In addition, she has long served as a mentor fostering responsible business practices and personal accountability.

Latz holds a law degree from the University of Missouri. She has two sons. One resides in San Diego and is pursuing a career in private equity, and the other lives in Los Angeles where he works in the technology industry.
