Dorlisa K. Flur is a corporate director and strategic advisor who is trusted to lead and advise companies and executives through transformative periods to sustainable growth and value creation. She serves on the board of Sally Beauty Holdings Inc. (NYSE: SBH), an international specialty retailer and distributor, and is a member of the Audit and Nominating, Governance, and Corporate Responsibility Committees. She is also a director on the board of Hibbett Inc. (Nasdaq: HIBB), an athletic-inspired fashion retailer, serving on the Compensation Committee and chairing the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Flur is an independent director and Strategy Committee chair for United States Cold Storage Inc., a refrigerated warehousing and logistics corporation that is privately owned by a major U.K. conglomerate. She is a new Trustee for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, the state’s largest health insurer. She is also chair and president of the NACD Carolinas Board.

Flur has transformed multi-billion dollar established brands and enterprises by strategically repositioning the companies and enhancing their business models with advanced analytics, digital and omnichannel capabilities, and broader technology change. Before her current role as a strategic advisor to the CEO and board of Southeastern Grocers Inc., she served as their chief strategy and transformation officer. Previously, Flur was EVP, Omnichannel for Belk Inc. and vice chair of Strategy and chief administrative officer for Family Dollar Stores Inc. Flur transitioned into industry after 16 years with McKinsey & Co., where she was the first woman partner elected in the Southeast and later co-managed the Charlotte office.

An active community leader, Flur has previously served as board chair for two of Charlotte’s leading arts organizations, Blumenthal Performing Arts and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. She is past chair of UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business board of advisors and currently serves on the advisory council of the Bechtler.

She earned her MBA and BS degrees from Duke University, majoring in Economics and Computer Science. She is also an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and earned the NACD Directorship Certified credential in early 2020.
