Catharine M. de Lacy is a former SEC corporate officer and global VP for multiple public and private corporations in diverse industries: chemicals, oil and gas, petrochemicals, energy, mining, automotive, aerospace and defense, CPG, and environmental services.

Catharine has more than 30 years of success managing $10 million - $1billion budgets and reserves, and has served on executive councils and M&A, compliance, supply chain, capital investment, global operations, and business unit leadership teams for Fortune 500 companies.

Known as a successful change leader, Catharine has established mission-driven, high-performance teams that were recognized as valued business partners and viewed as leaders by industry peers and regulatory authorities.

Catharine is a pioneer in integrating ESG into business and integrated sustainability reporting. She has developed and led benchmark programs in EHS, public affairs and sustainability, corporate communications, government and regulatory affairs, product stewardship, strategy and compliance in five continents; and chaired or served on industry association boards in the US, EU, and China.

Catharine has experience in public-private partnerships; dealing with sensitive governance, risk management, compliance issues and investigations; public policy in evolving energy economy from sustainability, environmental, trade, tax and supply chain, etc.; and managing shareholder activism.

Catherine is an advisor to the CEO of Verte Mode and a member of the NACD Carolinas Board, Environmental Law Institute Leadership Council and Responsible Battery Coalition Executive Advisory Council. She is the former director of TORC Oil & Gas, Ltd (TSX:TOG) and chair of the company’s Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability Committee; former president, CEO, and director of Cabot Insurance Co. Ltd.; former member of the Care Dimensions Board; former member of the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health; and former trustee of Merrimack College.

Catharine has a bachelor of science degree from Merrimack College and a master of science degree from Tufts University. She has a certificate in risk governance from the DCRO Institute, an ESG Board Certificate from Berkley Law School, and a Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School.
