As chief client officer for Baker Botts, Catherine Zinn oversees various aspects of global growth and strategy including Baker Botts’ sector-focused client sales, marketing, and communications functions. Additionally, Catherine serves as a board member and advisor to various for-profit and nonprofit companies, as well as an advisor and active scout for various venture funds. During her time at DLA Piper and Orrick and in her current role at Baker Botts, Catherine has continuously led global initiatives. Her expertise includes identifying and placing qualified candidates onto public and private company boards, contributing to increased diversity.

Catherine is board member for Tronic, a global, pre-initial public offering private company, and Web3, a loyalty program. She is also a board member of Silicon Valley Directors’ Exchange, Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, Legal Momentum, and National Foundation for Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition.

Catherine is an advisory board member for Integra Ledger, the Global Legal Blockchain Consortium, Goldcast.io, Shatter Fund, and Joinder. She is also an advisory board member for 
National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), NACD Northern California Chapter, and American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women.

Catherine was named a Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, Woman of Achievement by Legal Momentum, Top 100 Women in Law, and Top 50 Women Executives in San Francisco. In 2015, she was inducted into the highly selective International Women’s Forum. In 2016, she joined American Leadership Forum’s roster of senior fellows, along with other top C-level executives and community leaders.
