Susan Gray is an international business leader with deep financial markets, infrastructure investment, and energy transition and sustainability expertise. Gray has honed her financial acumen, strategic approach, and risk management experience over almost 30 years in senior investment banking, investment, and regulated financial services business roles, the last 18 based in New York.

Gray’s experience includes infrastructure, energy, investment, capital markets, corporate governance, corporate strategy, and banking. She has a deep understanding of energy transition technologies and market activity. She is an innovator with a track record of building new businesses, award-winning products, and a market presence in infrastructure and sustainable finance at S&P Global and Infrastructure at Macquarie. At S&P Global, Gray was global head of corporate and infrastructure ratings and later global head of sustainable finance. Her deep infrastructure experience at Macquarie spans the full spectrum of infrastructure asset classes and includes ten years in North America, where she built Macquarie’s third-party advisory business as head of infrastructure investor coverage for the Americas, among other roles.

Gray is a partner and head of energy transition and sustainability at Argo Infrastructure Partners, a New York-based infrastructure asset manager with over $6 billion assets under management, where she has a senior management role and leads the firm’s energy transition investment strategy.

Gray is a recognized thought leader who speaks extensively on infrastructure, energy transition, sustainability, and capital markets. She has had a long-standing governance commitment, including 20 years of not-for-profit board service; has completed the National Association of Company Directors (NACD) Directorship Certification, and has been recognized as part of the NACD Board Leadership Fellowship. Gray is a member of the NACD New Jersey Chapter board and served on the New York Chapter board. She has been based in New York since 2006.
