Kathleen McAllister manages an active corporate board portfolio, serving on the boards of Black Hills Corp (BKH), The Metals Company (TMC), Silverbow Resources (SBOW) and Hoegh LNG (former HMLP, now privately held). Kathleen chairs the TMC Audit Committee and serves on the SBOW Nominating and Strategy Committee and on the BKH and SBOW audit committees. Previously, Kathleen served on the board of Maersk Drilling (DRLCO) and chaired the Audit and Risk Committee.
As a seasoned public company Board Director, CEO and CFO with diverse leadership roles in global, capital-intensive companies in the energy and infrastructure value chains, and having led over $20B in capital markets transactions including a NYSE IPO, Kathleen brings a broad strategic perspective to the complex challenges of operating cyclical businesses in the global marketplace, and is known for building strong relationships and communicating effectively with all stakeholders to develop and achieve strategic goals.
On the not-for-profit front, Kathleen focuses on families in need, education, and mentoring, and serves on the NACD Texas TriCities Chapter Board, the University of Houston-CL College of Business Dean's Advisory Council, the Board of Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, leads the C200 Corporate Board Forum and co-leads the Women Corporate Directors Houston Chapter. Kathleen is a NACD Board Leadership Fellow and a Certified Public Accountant.
