Les Csorba’s executive search work is focused on senior-level assignments in the upstream, midstream, and oil services segments of the energy industry. In 2012, Csorba and his team were awarded the Heidrick & Struggles Global Craftsmanship Award, the firm’s highest honor for quality execution. He has also conducted senior-level search work for leading nonprofits and public-sectors organizations. Prior to his experience in the executive search business, Csorba served in the White House as a special assistant to the President of the United States for presidential personnel during the George H.W. Bush administration.
An active energy industry participant, Csorba is a member of the Houston Producers Forum and is a frequent speaker and writer on leadership issues. He is the author of Trust: The One Thing That Makes or Breaks a Leader (Thomas Nelson, 2004), and his articles have appeared in Corporate Board Member magazine, The Wall Street Journal’s “National Employment Weekly,” the Houston Chronicle, the Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and others. His appearances on the subject of leadership and corporate governance have included interviews on Fox News, MSNBC, and CNBC with Maria Bartiromo.
Csorba is an active member of the community where he serves on the board of Yellowstone Academy, a faith-based inner-city school in Houston. In 2007, Csorba was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve on the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships.
