As the founder and managing partner of Sudduth Search, Jen Sudduth has over two decades of experience in executive search, working for clients within the technology, industrial, and manufacturing industries. She has completed assignments across all roles and management levels.

Sudduth has always been of the entrepreneurial mindset. Shortly after graduating from college, she raised capital to build and scale her first business, which she successfully exited at 25. A few months later, she launched and sold her second venture. Her time as an entrepreneur instilled a “the buck stops with me” mentality. Sudduth is a problem solver and an executor; moreover, she understands the change-maker persona and the traits it takes to succeed in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Prior to founding Sudduth Search, Sudduth was a managing director with Focus Search Partners (FSP), one of the country’s only private equity-backed executive-search firms. At FSP, Sudduth specialized in executing multiple searches for clients operating in the private capital markets. In most situations, her clients were in major growth mode, undergoing a strategic shift in their product or service offerings or planning to go public.

Prior to FSP, Sudduth was the director of talent for Enaxis Consulting (acquired by Accenture), a management consulting firm for the energy sector. In this role, she focused on recruiting, training, talent management, and employee engagement. She contributed to Enaxis’ tremendous growth, helping the firm triple in size in just over four years.

Sudduth received a bachelor of science in psychology from Texas Christian University (TCU) and has a Professional in Human Resources certification. She also serves on the board of the Association of Corporate Growth Houston (a mergers and acquisitions-focused organization), as co-chair of the TCU Alumni Business Association, and as an active investor in Portfolia as well as the TCU Investor Network. She also serves on the regional advisory board of Special Olympics. Sudduth was recently named a “2022 Women Who Mean Business” honoree by the Houston Business Journal.
