Pete is Vice-President of Business Process Management at JE Dunn Construction Company, his second corporate officer role at the company. He previously served as Vice-President - Diversity, Inclusion and Compliance.
During the period between his two senior leadership roles at JE Dunn, Pete was an Executive in Residence and Assistant Teaching Professor in the Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. His work was primarily in the Executive MBA program, where he taught Leadership and Supply Chain Management.
Pete served as Senior Vice-President - Supply Chain and Business Enablement at Hallmark Cards, Inc, where had a 26-year career and was a corporate officer for 11 years. In addition to leading global operations, he was accountable for the IT division and led major business transformation initiatives in partnership with McKinsey and Accenture. These included corporate spend management, lean, and enterprise technology solution development with SAP.
Prior to his career in industry, Pete served four years as a communication systems officer in the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
Previous non-profit board service includes the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center Foundation - Chair, the Clay County Economic Development Council, Junior Achievement, the Liberty Hospital Foundation, United Way of the Pioneer Valley and the Helzberg School of Management Advisory Board at Rockhurst University. He is a member of Rotary and recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.
